You can rinse the mouth with water after drinking lemon water. Alternatively, you can use a straw for drinking lemon water. In some people, lemon water can trigger heartburn as it has citric acid.

However, some people get relief from heartburn after consuming lemon water as it gets alkaline when it reaches your digestive tract.
