Cotton cloth can be an alternative to a diaper since the side effects of baby diapers are more. It has no chemicals or dyes. Use a soft cotton cloth that can absorb the liquid, and when you see it is wet, change it. You can wash it and reuse it multiple times.

2. Diaper Liners

The liners are also a prominent substitute for a diaper and are readily available in the market, and they are less harmful and eco-friendly.

3. Branded Diapers

You can have eco-friendly diapers. That would be a great idea; maybe they are a little more expensive than the regular diapers but more safe and secure for a baby.

Dos

  • Whenever you see your baby have any skin redness or rashes, immediately throw the diaper and apply a mild moisturizer or some coconut oil to the affected area.
  • Change the diaper within 2 hours and if a baby passes the poop, frequently change the diaper and wash the skin or use a tissue and gently clean it.
  • You can go with cloth nappies in the daytime and use diapers at nighttime.
  • If you are travelling, keep yourself some diapers, clothes, and tissue paper.

Don’t

  • Never buy a poor quality diaper for your baby, even it is cheaper or expensive.
  • Never leave your baby wet, and continuously check him after a few minutes.
