10 Warning Symptoms of not drinking enough water

Water is an essential element for our life that is necessary for survival not only for humans but for every living being. Our 70% body made of water and we lose water by sweating, peeing, breathing, and by other activities regularly.  

If you are not drinking enough water on a regular basis then you may have many health issues because water keeps our body hydrated and it flushes out all the harmful toxins from our body.

In this article, we will mention some major warning signs that are the initial indication that you are not drinking sufficient water and you must increase the water intake. So let’s check out what are those early signals that tell your body needs more water:

Symptoms of not drinking enough water:

1. Mouth Dryness:

Why is my mouth dry? If you are feeling dryness and stickiness in your mouth then you must aware because it can be a sign that you are drinking less water in a day.

You also feel dryness in your throat and your mouth gets unable to make enough saliva that is necessary for the mouth.

Drinking enough water can solve the trouble and helps your mouth to keep it hydrated and wet.

If you are thinking that cold drinks or normal sugary drinks will help to sort the trouble then, of course, you are totally wrong due to it will only increase the problem. So try to drink normal plain water.  

2. Dry and Dull Skin Tone:

Does drinking water help dry skin? Our body needs enough water for healthiness and its nourishment. Water contains many minerals and several components that your skin wants badly.

If you are having a dull and dry skin tone without any specific reason then you must know that you should drink more water.

The early aging symptoms like wrinkles, dull skin tone, skin blemishes, etc are the causes of the lack of water, so if you want healthy and glowing skin then start drinking water. You can also add a fresh lime if you don’t like plain water.

Can dehydration cause joint and muscle pain? Our cartilage, muscles, and spinal disk contains 70 to 80% of water components so if your body feels the lack of water then it can affect these organs and you can feel inflammation and chronic pain in your joints.

Though there are many other reasons available for joint pain and muscle stiffness less intake of water is also one of them.

According to some studies, people who were having proper water regularly felt less joint troubles than others.

4. Yellow Urine Color:

What color is your pee when you’re dehydrated? The urine color describes a lot of things about our health that’s why we have urine checkups whenever we feel anything wrong with our body.

So if you are peeing with dark yellow with brownish color then this is the major sign that your body is crying for the help and demand for water.

Basically, a healthy person’s urine color should be light yellow but if you are not having it or never paid any attention then now it is the time that does not ignore it, because the kidneys eliminate all the toxins and other elements out from your body and if you won’t drink enough water then it would affect your kidneys.   

5. Less Urge of Urine:

Urinate is the normal process of our body and normally a healthy person feel the urge of urine 6 to 7 times in a single day. If you are feeling less than that then increase the water intake.  

6. Constipation:

What is best to drink when constipated? You may have heard hundreds of times drink 1 or 2 glass of water after waking up or early in the morning.

Well, this is because at night your body loses water during sweating and feels dehydrated and it is one of the major reasons of constipation and as we all know that constipation is a common but stubborn health issue and millions of people have been facing this.

Naturally, when you will drink enough water it will help the stool to pass away from the intestine smoothly.

7. Feeling Fatigue and Tiredness:

Can dehydration cause extreme fatigue? According to several researchers, the lack of water can produce fatigue and mental and physical tiredness.

Your brain needs sufficient oxygen for the proper work and activeness and the lack of water can make your brain tired.

So whenever you feel lazy, inactive, tired, or stressed then avoid coffee or tea and drink a glass of water and you will feel good rather than having any other drink.      

8. Weak Immune System:

Try to drink more water because it will help to reduce all the toxins and kick it out of your body and will increase your immunity naturally.   

9. Headache:

Can drinking water get rid of a headache? Whenever your brain gets less oxygen and the body feels dehydrated then you can also have a headache. If you often feel a headache then increase the regular water intake and try to avoid tea and coffee.

You can have fresh herbal tea or lemon water or fresh coconut water that will also work well. There are numbers of options that can fulfill the lack of water but never drink artificial drinks that contain preservatives and sugar

Does drinking less water affect digestion? Well, it is definitely understandable that if you are drinking less water and also having constipation then it will also affect the digestive system too.

When the intestine is not clean it will always feel bloated and that’s why acidity and bloating in your stomach feel.

Drinking enough water can solve the issue related to the bowel system and makes your digestive tract healthy.
